The focus of the Klevr Super League (KSL) is to develop young players in a safe and fun hockey environment. Whole player development is at the forefront of our planning.
Each team is required to have a minimum of 3 team practice hours per week. Teams may also have skating or skills instruction or dryland training on top of the 3 hours of team practice. Teams will play in 6 KSL events ( 7th Holiday Tournament is optional) during the course of the fall/winter season. The first and final events will be played in a tournament format. The other 4 events will be showcases and will be counted as league play. Each team will be guaranteed 5 games per weekend.
Teams have the option of playing Exhibition games on “off weekends”. Teams will only play against other KSL charter, affiliate or partner teams. All games will be officiated by qualified referees. Team Tiers will be fluid throughout the season. Our goal is to have meaningful competition throughout the season. Teams will be reassessed after the first tournament. |
Kris and Jamie knew there was a desire for this league across the province. They also knew that if they didn’t form the league then someone else would. So in the fall of 2022 the KSL was born with safety, affordability, development and fun at the forefront of their endeavours.
Since this time, Kris and Jamie have teamed with a talented staff and skilled charter and affiliate owners to build this league. They have also partnered with organizations in Quebec, BC, Alberta and throughout the US to make the KSL brand that much stronger. The KSL is a place where the top players play and practice with and against other top players in a safe, fun and competitive environment. PLAY, COMPETE, DEVELOP |
